    The AIMRoom is a unique collaboration of special education teachers and
psychologists dedicated to helping struggling learners master academic independence.
    Academic Independence, or self-reliance in the performance of academic tasks,
is a function of the learner's healthy self-regard, skill development, and social well-being.
    The AIMRoom's unique approach involves building and solidifying the bridge between the learner, family, school and community so that the learner's potential can be valued and realized.




Enhance learner's academic performance.
Remediate learner's deficient skills.
Teach learner study and organizational skills.
Assist learner in completion of homework.
Address learner's emotional needs.
Improve understanding of learner's needs.
Facilitate communication between parent and school.
Coordinate and integrate learner's care from other professionals.
Provide information on topics of interest to parents and professionals.
