The professional and caring staff of The AIMRoom includes state certified special education teachers, learing specialists, school psychologists, LD/TCs and psychologists. The AIMRoom is under the direction of James F. Battaglia, Ph.D., psychologist. Each professional is committed to the educational and emotional well-being of The AIMRoom's learners.
When needed referrals are made to other professionals who work closely with The AIMRoom staff. These include neurologists, psychiatrists, developmental pediatricians, speech and language therapists, and optometrists.
Various educational and psychological approaches are utilized to improve academic and behavioral functioning at home and at school. Our staff researches the latest techniques to provide each learner with strategies that work best for his or her needs. Teachers and psychologists collaborate regularly to review the progress of each learner.
It is this team approach that separates The AIMRoom from other learning centers and forms the basis of our unique contribution to children and their families.
"It is truly an art form to watch The AIMRoom staff at work as they strive to establish academic independence in my child." ---- Parent, Washington Township
