AIMRoom Philosophy

All learners begin their journey as children with optimal learning as an inalienable right, especially for learners with disabilities.

All learners are initially dependent upon others, especially parents at home and teachers at school, and proceed to increased self-reliance as Learners or Academic Independence.

All learners are influenced by neuropsychological and psychological factors, among others, which must be continuously assessed and integrated into the learning process.

All learners are entitled to an optimal learning environment free of distraction, rich with resources, and tailored to each learner's unique profile of strengths and weaknesses.

All learners do best when learning occurs in a community, comprising parents, teachers and peers, which offers support and champions both individuality and creativity.

All learners require the support and accommodation of community groups, especially learners with disabilities.
